If you’re here, something may feel confusing or overwhelming.
Eating, body image, and self-worth issues have a way of narrowing what gets seen and what gets shared.
At the heart of all my work—therapy, writing, speaking, and education—is this:
Your FULL story matters.
(Even the painful parts—and the ones you learned to hide.)
Hi, I’m Alli Spotts-De Lazzer,

For around 20 years now, I’ve specialize in helping individuals develop a more self-assured relationship with themselves and their lives, and helping parents more confidently support their children (adolescents and adults) in eating disorder recovery. My approach centers on self-acceptance—not as resignation, but as a foundation for meaningful change—across therapy, education, writing, advocacy, and speaking.
It can be difficult to find meaning in struggles or long-standing patterns we don’t like about ourselves. With the right guidance, those experiences can be understood—not erased—and can become a doorway to greater steadiness, self-appreciation, and inner peace.
Each role I hold is distinct and intentional. Learn more about my background and expertise below (and for more detail, click the About tab), or explore therapy, parent eating disorder support, confidence coaching, speaking, or books below.
